K.C. Lindsey, 98, of Panama City, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born September 14, 1915 in Monroe County, Tennessee. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 37 years of service, having served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City and the Good News Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Oklahoma Masonic Lodge #501, Scottish Rite of Panama City, Shaddai Shrine Temple of Panama City and the Order of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lindsey. He is survived by his cousins, Joseph R. Lindsey, Shirley Auble, Sally Caldwell (Joe), Juanita Guider (Benny); and brother-in-law, James Wright (Sara). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew, Rev. Paul Wright, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 – 11 a.m. on Monday prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Bob Barnard, Jay Walker, Bob Holland, Russell Enfinger, and Frank Daglio.
