KATIE LEE NELSON McBRIDE

Katie Lee Nelson McBride, 85, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in a local nursing facility. She was born on December 13, 1921 and had been a lifelong resident of Bay County. She was a member of Heritage Bible Church. Mrs. McBride was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson McBride, Sr. and two sons, Woodrow Wilson "Tony" McBride, Jr. and Donald Edward McBride, Sr. She is survived by her son, Phillip McBride and special friend, Suzanne, of Deer Point, two daughters, Marian Scott and her husband, Angus and Evelyn Knight and her husband, Mike, all of Lynn Haven, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sister, Catherine Thomas and her husband, Tom, of Lynn Haven, daughter-in-law, Betty McBride and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Hazard officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Katie McBride.
