KATHLEEN S. GILBERT
On September 10, 2011, an angel, Kathleen S. Gilbert, 65, received her wings. She was born June 30, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. She retired from Tyndall Air Force Base after 32 years of service. She spent the last 4 years doing God's work at St. Andrew Community Medical Center. She attended St. Dominic's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Gilbert; mother, Susan K. Gilbert; sister, Gloria Dumas and a great niece, Frances Madison Dumas. She is survived by her daughter, Jaime Hilliard and husband Rick of Panama City; son, Greg Sturm and wife Rene, of Covington, Louisiana; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Helene Rayborn and husband Hal of Jay, FL; brother-in-law, Kenneth Dumas of Pensacola; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Maycayla and Joseph Gilbert, Daniel Dumas and wife Lori and their son, Matthew, Andrea Lombard and husband Ryan, Ryan Steiner and wife Jessica all of Pensacola, FL and all of her friends and patients. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the St. Dominic's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m.
