Katherine Smith Palmer, 67, of Panama City, FL passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020. She was born on May 19, 1952 in Panama City, FL to Manly and Jewel Smith. She was a retired Pre-K teacher for the Bay County School System. She was a member of Millville Advent Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manly & Jewel Smith; two sisters, Sandra Smith and Charlotte St. John. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Palmer; daughter, Serenity Anderson (Josh); son, Ben Andrews (Heather); four grandchildren, Justin Anderson, Carson Anderson, Courtney Andrews, Paxton Andrews; twin brother, Kenneth Smith (Leslie); two sisters, Lynda Hand (Clarence), Gayle Riding (Steven) and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday in the Herndon Cemetery, Clarksville, FL.
