Karl Ernst Daut
Karl Ernst Daut of Panama City, Florida, died on Wednesday morning, February 17, 2010 at his home after a brave battle with cancer. He was born on March 15, 1930, in Ludwigshafen, Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1959. He has lived in Panama City for the past 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maria Daut; his brother, Guenter Daut; his sister, Gaby Niermaier; two nieces, Elke McCoy and husband, Don McCoy, and Barbara Price and husband, Jerry Price of Panama City, Florida; and his nephews, Eugene Gillespie of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Wolfgang Daut of Wuerzburg, Germany. He is also survived by his grand nephew, Bill McCoy and grand nieces, Michelle Stebbins and Christine Gillespie.
Karl's family wishes to thank Covenant Hospice for their wonderful and loving care. In honor of his wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405.
