Karen Gayle Wilson, 68, of Panama City, FL passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. She was born on October 27, 1952 in Panama City. She worked as the Lunchroom Manager for Cedar Grove Elementary and Cherry Street Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Nell Arrant; one brother, Daniel Arrant. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Kenneth Wilson; one son, Daniel Melvin; two step daughters, Tina Renee Wilson, Tonya Ann Howerton (Chris); eight grandchildren, Braylea, Jared, Joshua, Lauren, Austin, Ashlyn, Kristen, Laykin; two brothers, Kenneth Arrant (Sherry) and Leonard Arrant (Debbie). Active pallbearers will be Steve Pitts, Jerry Pollard, Kenny Bradley, Gary Miller, Rusty Morris and Donald Wayne Miller. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Broome and Rev. Lloyd Lykins officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 am on Friday prior to the service.
