JUNE FORBUS GRUBB
June Forbus Grubb, 87, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, April 19, 2010. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1956 when she and her husband, Bob, moved from her birthplace of Alexander City, Alabama. Mrs. Grubb devoted her life to teaching students at Mowat Middle School, St. Andrew Elementary and at Northside. She also enjoyed years of teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Grubb and her brother, Reg Forbus. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine; son-in-law, Jerry; grandchildren, Jordan and Allie; brother, Bob Forbus and his wife, Det and sister-in-law, Lou Forbus.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Panama City. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Rob Chisolm, Loren Forbus, Rob Forbus, Reg Forbus, Jordan Probst and Henry Kracke. Honorary pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School Class, "The Birthday Girls", Joe Rogers and Stan Worsham.
