June Dillard Cook, 89, of Panama City, FL passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born on February 4, 1932 in Altha, FL. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Everitt Middle School. June loved three things, Jesus, family and FSU football. She also loved fishing and spending time tending to the flowers in her garden. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church and was a current member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Yulee Cook; her second husband, Cary Franklin Wilson Jr.; one sister, Murriel Hanes and one brother, Percy Dillard. She is survived by two children, Leita Harper (Danney), Danny Cook (Tracy); two step children, Paul Wilson (Kristy), Michael Wilson; one brother, Stan Dillard (Bessie); two grandchildren, Jonathan "Jon" Cook (Amanda), Leah Schatz; one great granddaughter, Kinsley Cook and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 2:30 pm CST in the Mount Olive Cemetery in Altha, FL with Rev. Mike Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial donations to the Grace Baptist Church building fund in memory of June Cook. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale Senior Living for the love and care shown to our mother. Our heartfelt gratitude to Emerald Coast Hospice for the care you gave our mom.
