JULIE GAYE GRANT
Julie Gaye Grant, 51, of Panama City, most beloved daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at home. She was born August 3, 1958 in Panama City. Julie spent over 31 years with the Bay County School Board, working in the Millville School Lunchroom. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Dallas Duke. She is survived by her parents, John and Joyce Grant; two sisters, Janet Carwile and husband, Mike, Jena Duke and husband, Phillip; two nieces, Jillian Grant, Leanne Duke; three nephews, Evan Carwile, Justin Duke, Brandon Duke; godson, Thomas Keasey; uncle, Charles Grant and wife, Barbara; aunts, Helen King, Peggy Phillips and husband Roger, Dorothy Cummings and husband, John; dear friend, Sherri Siwulec; beloved godparents, C.W. and Joyce Mauldin and a host of cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Glenn Hope, Jimmy Grissett, Ricky Hagan, Sam Morrison, Kevin Bowen, Mike Spann, Eric Spikes and Von Spikes.
