JULIA ETTA FENDLEY
Julia Etta Fendley, 94, of Lynn Haven, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in a local hospital. She was born January 28, 1915 in Holmes County, Florida to J.W. & Mandy Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Emory Fendley, 7 brothers, and 4 sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Brooks and husband, Rick of Lynn Haven; 2 sons, Donald Fendley and wife, Shirley of Chipley, FL; Ralph Fendley of Monticello, FL, 2 grandchildren, Donell Fendley and wife, Stacey; April Powell and husband Derek, 3 great grandchildren, Dale Fendley, Julie Powell, Lindsey Fendley, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Jan Chadd. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Gann and Rev. Ronnie Fendley officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the Mount Ida Cemetery, Westville, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Gamad, Bay Center, Phillip Cauthen, Kim and the Nurses at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Bill Thomas. Active pallbearers are Bill Thomas, John Howell, Wendall Thomas, Jamie Young, Donell Fendley and Rick Brooks.
