Judith Anne Newberry Nobles Cleghorn, 82, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014 at her son's home in Savannah, Georgia. She was born October 16, 1931 in Panama City to William Ralph & Lucille Turner Newberry. She was a 1949 graduate of Bay High School. She was a retired secretary for the Safety Office at Tyndall A.F.B . She was a lifelong resident of Panama City and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd C. Nobles and Calvin R. Cleghorn Sr. ; her daughter, Catherine Anne Locklin; her granddaughter, Brandi Terese Ross; and a brother, William Ralph Newberry. She is survived by her three children, Janet Carolyn Thompson, Gloria Terese Sidney, Lloyd Michael Nobles and wife, Sherry; son-in-law, John Locklin; 11 grandchildren, Adam Mashburn, Jamie Thompson, Jonathan Thompson, Carli Husbands, Steven Nobles, Daniel Nobles, Tressa McQueen, Brett Locklin, Jacob Locklin, Charis Hunt, Brittnee Collier; 3 sisters, Janice Newberry Williams, Elaine Newberry Lawrence and husband, Charles, Diane Newberry; sister-in-law, Molly Newberry and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Immanuel Baptist Church in memory of Judy Cleghorn.
