Joyce Lee Gunn Vickers, 90, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was born August 13, 1928 in Moore Haven, Florida to Walter Lee Gunn and Della Missouri Langdale Gunn. She was co-owner of Vickers Paint and Body Shop. Joyce enjoyed her time in the woods and on the water with friends and family. In her retirement years she spent a lot of time at Howard Creek and St. Joe bay. She loved working in her yard taking care of her plants and flowers. Joyce was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Vickers, son, R.C. "Chip" Vickers; two grandchildren, Jay Vickers, Kim Dutton McKay; son-in-law, James Dutton; her parents; brother, Floyd Gunn; three sisters, Gladys Keene, Della Mae Bembry and Lois Henry. She is survived by four children, Jerry Vickers (Kathy), Arica Dutton, Ray Vickers (Cathy), Sheila Davis (David); eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Vosbrink officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Chris Vickers, Terry Vickers, Jason Vickers, Mike Vickers, Kevin Dutton, Shane Davis and great grandsons, Klint McKay, Colby Dutton, Kaden Vickers, and Chip Vickers.
