Joyce Lanton Peterson, 79, of Panama City, FL passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1944 in Dothan, AL to Marvin and Lonnie Lanton. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Carter Peterson. She is survived by four children, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to your local animal shelter in memory of Joyce Peterson.
