JOSHUA "JACK" BARFIELD
Joshua "Jack" Barfield, 83, of Lynn Haven, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. He was born April 6, 1927 in Tallahassee, Florida. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was a retired salesman from Cook Whitehead Ford with 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Barfield and daughter, Barbara Lee Barfield. He is survived by his friend and caregiver, Ruth A. Klusky; daughter, Elena Causby and husband Glen; two grandchildren, Michelle Hicks and husband Randy, Joshua Causby; and great granddaughter, Brooke Hicks. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 2 in Lynn Haven Cemetery with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 or to the Bay County Humane Society, P.O. Box 883, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Jack Barfield. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Community Health and Rehab and Covenant Hospice for their excellent care.
