JOSEPHINE "JO" BLAND
Josephine "Jo" Bland, 94, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. She was born May 24, 1915 in Alma, Georgia. She worked in the Jinks Junior High School Cafeteria for many years. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Charles Bland, Sr. and her son, Oscar Charles Bland, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Jo Coram, of Panama City; two sons, Mack Bland, of Panama City, Teddy Bland and wife, Marcella, of Mt. Dora, FL; eight grandchildren, Scott Bland, Julie Bland Murray, April Bland Mercer, Sara Bland, Teddy Bland, Jr., Alicia Biems, Allison Hartoy, Derrick Coram and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Jo Bland.
