JOSEPH PAUL "JOE" WALKER
Joseph Paul "Joe" Walker, 85, of Panama City, passed to new life on Saturday, November 02, 2013. He was born July 31, 1928 in Panama City, Florida to John & Ollie Walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Crittendon Walker; his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Walker Jr. and wife Beatrice, Jack Walker and wife Dorina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey Walker Wilkerson and husband Lloyd, Edna Walker Drake, Jane Walker Thompson and husband Tommy. He leaves two step sons, Tony Crittendon and wife, Annette, Jack Crittendon, deceased, and wife Eva; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was raised in St. Andrews. He loved to hunt, fish and fellowship with family and friends. His real love was fishing the Gulf of Mexico with his brothers and friends. He worked for 45 years on the Tug Boats on the Mississippi River. He was a Chief Marine Engineer. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, November 8 from 5 – 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Luther Stanford officiating.
