JOSEPH "JOE" ROBERTS

Joseph "Joe" Roberts, 81, of Panama City, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 in his home. Joe was born on May 27, 1931 in Panama City. He retired from the International Paper Mill and was the former owner of Joe Roberts' Nursery. He coached Little League at R. L. Turner for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Esther Roberts; four children, Jan Ashe and husband Perry, Joylyn Roberts, Jonilou Wilken and husband Phil, Jobe Roberts and wife Loree; one step daughter, Stephanie Parker and husband Clif; grandchildren, Billy Ashe, Johanna Ashe, Joseph Rogers, Joshua Rogers, Brandon Everett, Dustin Everett, Patrick Everett, Nathan Everett, Aimee Roberts; step grandchildren, Brad Parker, Laci Parker; great grandson, Kaden Rogers; and one sister, Thelma Glenn. Memorialization will be by cremation and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL in memory of Joseph "Joe" Roberts.
