JOSEPH ALAN McNIEL
Joseph Alan McNiel, 58, of Youngtown, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010. He was born March 13, 1952 in Panama City. He was a 1971 graduate of Bay High School and Baptist by faith. He was employed with Superior Propane. He was an avid fan of FSU, the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Braves. He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey McNiel. He is survived by his wife, Mary McNiel; children, Ashley McNiel, Alan McNiel; mother, Juanita McNiel; sisters, Jan M. Nelson, Amy M. Mason and husband Ed, all of Panama City; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Allen and husband John Michael, Theresa Adams, of Arp, TX; several nieces and nephews and a large, loving extended family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 4001 West 23rd Street Suite C, Panama City, FL 32405.
