JOSEPH FRANKLIN COATNEY, JR.

Joseph Franklin "Frank" Coatney, Jr, 52, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was born February 19, 1960 in Panama City and had been a resident here all of his life. He was a contractor in Panama City for the past 25 years. Frank was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Franklin Coatney, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Pat Coatney King (Jim); three children, Marie Coatney Walker (Michael), Frank Coatney III, Lauren Olivia Coatney; two grandchildren, Dominick Walker, Mikah Walker; two sisters, Pamela Elliott (Stephen), Trish Coatney Phillips; nephews and niece, Michael Blaho, James Phillips, Joey Hendrix, Matt Hendrix (Chelsey), Farrah Bailey (Brandon) and numerous great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Key officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
