Jonathan Cole Vasta, 32, of Panama City passed away April 14, 2018.  He was born November 19, 1985 in Panama City, Florida.  He was a building contractor for Vasta Development, Inc.  He was a lifelong resident of Panama City. He was a member of the NRA; he loved to hunt, fish, ride four-wheelers and was an avid sportsman. He was an amazing father.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Taylor and Frances Canada from Talladega, Alabama.

He is survived by his son, Kaden Vasta; parents, John and Peggy Vasta; sister, Cristina Vasta Jansenius and husband, Joseph; grandmother, Claudia Filloramo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the St. Dominic Catholic Church with Father Peter Zalewski officiating.  Immediately following the service there will be a reception in the church hall; please bring photos of Jonathan to share.  In lieu of flowers, a gofundme account has been set up in Jonathan's name for his son Kaden.
