JOHN THOMAS WEGLINSKI

John Thomas Weglinski, 46, passed away at home in his sleep on Friday, September 19, 2008. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived in Panama City for over 30 years. He was a mechanic and had a real talent for taking engines apart and putting them back together. He was always ready to help a friend in need. He had a soft spot in his heart for animals and many strays found their way to his house where he gave them a good home. He is preceded in death by his parents, John J Weglinski and Annette G Weglinski. He is survived by two sisters, Rosanne Weglinski (Van Vandermuellen) of Panama City, Annette Weglinski (Michael McManus) of Tallahassee and a brother, Michael J Weglinski (Nancy) of Tallahassee. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m.
