John Wyatt Seaborn, passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on March 28, 1947, in Panama City Florida, he was a devout Christian, loving husband and father, man of wisdom, integrity, and kindness.
John graduated from Bay High in 1965 and then received his AAS Degree in Drafting and Technology from Gulf Coast Community College in 1968 and then his BS Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of West Florida in 1970.
The many fortunate to know John understood his extensive knowledge in the building and design industry. His knowledge and understanding of construction was curated over half a decade with professional experiences working for the City of Panama City Engineering Department as a Design Draftsman and Building inspector from 1966-1982. From there, John's experience led him to a serve an integral role in the early development of Seaside where he held the role of Director of Construction and Code Compliance for the Seaside Community Development Corp from 1987-1998. He continued as a construction superintendent and draftsman through his final days.
John also enjoyed cooking for others, participating in church activities at City Church, spending time with his furry companion, Dodger and sharing quality time with family.
John's kindness, humble spirit, and love for others will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He believed in building not just structures, but also relationships and memories that stand the test of time.
