JOHN WILBERN MORRIS
John Wilbern Morris, 73, of Panama City, Florida, died August 13, 2008 in his home. He was born on April 25, 1935 in Vernon, Florida to John Wesley& Frances Morris. He retired in 2000 from Gulf Coast Community College as the Vice President of Administrative Services, after 20 years of service. He was a Certified Public Accountant. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven, Toastmaster's and Panhandle Gator Club. He was a Mason and also a Rotarian. He is survived by his wife, June Graham Morris of Panama City, sons, Wesley Morris and wife Sandra of Palm Beach County, Florida, John P. Morris and wife Penny of Panama City, grandchildren, Graham Morris and Leah Morris. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Graveside services will be held in the New Hope Cemetery on Saturday at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 West 19th Street, Panama City, Florida 32405 in memory of John W. Morris.
