John Henry Jernigan, the son of Arthur and Rubina Jernigan was born in Bonifay, Florida on September 20, 1938. John is survived by his wife, Harriet, and children, Mikhail and wife Charlene, Chris and wife Susan, Patrick, Kim and husband Donald, Tracy and Kent; siblings, Jean, Glen, Harry, Kelley, Bob and Greg; and grandchildren, Mikhail, Charles, Johnathon, Joshua, Christin, Samantha, John Mikhail, Harlan, Jessie, Nikolai and Tesa.

John will have graveside services with full military honors on Monday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family thanks the Gulf Coast Medical ICU for their loving care, and Dr. Azzam Adhal for his many years of care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Bay Co., in John's name.
