John Thomas Harris Sr., 76, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was born on August 9, 1943 in Fulton County, Georgia. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the Owner and Captain of F/V St. Andrew Bay/ Challenger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Claude and Ruby Wilson Harris. He is survived by two children, John Harris Jr., Angie Parish (Jay); four grandchildren, Kristina Withers, Devon Mumford (Brandon), Justin Thomas Harris, Sarah Lynn Harris; four great grandchildren, Jordyn Newsome, Kalley Newsome, Harper Mumford, Livia Mumford; one sister, Vanessa Dingler (Ron); and his nephews. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in the Rockmill Cemetery, 230 Blest Circle, Jewell, GA 31045 with Beggs Funeral Home in Thomason, GA assisting. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 5-7 pm.
