JOHN THOMAS HARDENBURG
John Thomas "Tom" Hardenburg, 24, of Lynn Haven, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 26, 2008. Tom was born in Pensacola, Florida on August 27, 1983. Tom was a joy to his family and friends. He had a great heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. His smile and big laugh caused everyone around him to be uplifted. He was an assistant manager for Grease Pro in Callaway. Tom enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and hanging out with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Wesley Maddox and grandmother, Gina Hardenburg. He is survived by his son, Ethan, who was his pride and joy, his parents, Jim and Jean Hardenburg, of Lynn Haven, sister, Emily Paul, grandparents, Evelyn Maddox, of Lynn Haven, Chet and Louise Hardenburg, of Dania Beach, FL, uncle, John Maddox, of Starke, FL, uncle and aunt, Randy and Nancy Green, of Boone, NC, and nephew, Blaine Paul, who adored his "Uncle Tom." Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lynn Haven United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make donations to the Ethan Hardenburg Trust Fund c/o Bay Bank.
