John Robert "Bobby" Tolbert Sr., 75, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 while at rest at his home. He was born July 1, 1940 in Anniston, Alabama to Fred Ernest & Dora Mae Hilton Tolbert. Bobby was a 1958 and 1959 graduate of Bay High School (only Bobby could pull this off.) He took over the family business, Panama Sheet Metal Works and Roofing in 1959 and has been the owner and operator since. He was a licensed mortgage broker, a real estate broker and a licensed roofing contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Ernest Tolbert Jr. He is survived by a daughter, Denise Tolbert McKamey; son, John Robert Tolbert II; 4 grandchildren, Erica Del McKamey, Madison Kirk McKamey, Trent Austin Tolbert, Alaina Delle Tolbert; sister-in-law Pat Hilton Tolbert nephew, Fred E. "Trip" Tolbert III and two nieces, Teri Tolbert and Tammy Tolbert. For those who knew Bobby, knew he had a passion for the past. He was an avid dancer, hunter, and wonderful father who will be dearly missed by his friends and the community in which he lived. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service a reception will be held at the Forest Park United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Wilson Funeral Home.
