JOE HEARD PATTERSON

Joe Heard Patterson, 77, of Panama City Beach, died January 1, 2008. He was a retired insurance agent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Patterson Jr. and Ruby Love Patterson, wife, Mina T. Patterson, daughter, Sara C. Patterson, son, Mark T. Patterson, brother, Charles A. Patterson III and aunt, Dutchie L. Page. He is survived by a daughter, Susan Patterson Griffin of Panama City Beach, son, Stuart B. Patterson of Los Angeles, California, grandson, Justin M. Griffin of Panama City Beach, brother, Jim Patterson and wife Wanda of Panama City Beach, sister, Carolyn P. Rudder of Dothan, Alabama, companion, Frances Laymance, special friends, Charles Hilton, Jr. and John Hutt Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Joe Patterson.
