Joe Mack Kelley, 84, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Tuesday January 30, 2018. He was born on May 16, 1933 in Slocomb, AL to J.H. and Allie Kelley. He has been a resident of Panama City since 1958 moving from Slocomb, AL. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Teacher at Jinks Junior High for 32 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven. Chairman of the Ushers and a member of the God's Warriors Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Cody, Gib, Clayton and Bill. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gwendolyn Faye Kelley; daughter, Odessa Kelley and husband, Donald; son, Joseph Michael Kelley and wife, Jessica; four grandchildren, Trae Auton and wife, Gracie, Tanor Auton, Tylor Auton, Brianna Kelley; one great granddaughter, Indigo Auton; sister- in- law, Peggy Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 2, 2018 at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating. Interment will be held on Friday at 2:30 pm in the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Geneva County, AL. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home Thursday February 1, 2018 from 5-7 pm. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven Building Fund in memory of Joe Kelley.
