JoAnn Elaine Meredith, 85, of Panama City, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. She was born on February 6, 1934, in Lucas, Kansas, to Harold W. Francis and Nora E. Crimen.

JoAnn was a Registered Nurse who graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 1978. She finished her nursing career at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center, Panama City, Florida, in 1993.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Francis and Nora Crimen, her first husband, Ernest "Rob" Robinson, her second husband, Bernard "Ben" Meredith, and her son Mike Robinson. She is survived by her shared children: Teresa LaRocca (John), Pat Robinson, Steve Robinson (Becky), Whitney Meredith, Marsha Pendoley (Tom), John Robinson (Dan), and Matt Meredith (Missy). JoAnn was also blessed with nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

JoAnn attended Forest Park United Methodist Church where she had many very special friends. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was loved and cherished by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Forest Park United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 11 am. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Reverend David Willis will be officiating. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 1 pm in the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church.
