Joan Ann Miller, 79, of Panama City, Fl passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born December 18, 1944 in Panama City, FL and a lifelong resident of the area.  She touched many people's lives making her school bus routes for over 30 years and retired to do the thing she loved the most, being a grandma and fishing.

Joan was a faithful Christian and believed in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Joan was a devoted wife for over 50 years, a loving mother, and dedicated grandma.  She was a great southern cook and enjoyed serving her family with delicious homemade meals, including making lunch for her children even in their adult years.  She was faithful to the people that needed her any time a need arose. She never stepped out of her house without being ready for the world from the tips of her nails to the jewelry around her neck. She loved the outdoors, from throwing a cane pole or a fly rod by a lake to scalloping on the bay. Joan enjoyed her time with friends doing puzzles, playing Scrabble, and watching America's greatest pastime cheering for the Atlanta Braves.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Martin "Marty" Manford Miller; a son, Beryl James Miller; and a granddaughter, Melanie Ann Miller.  She is survived by son, Keith Miller (Nicole); a daughter-in- law, Jennifer (Beryl) Miller; grandchildren, Brian, Brandyn, Lacy, Nathan; great-grandchildren, James, Uriah, and Eden. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, December 11th at 10 am with services to follow at 11am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Private graveside service to follow at Callaway Cemetery.
