JOAN KATHLEEN CAVANAUGH HOWELL

Joan Kathleen Cavanaugh Howell, 77, of Panama City, went to Heaven on Sunday August 10, 2008. She was the Mother of four, John Alan, Kathleen Ann, Matthew Albert, Robin Annette, five grandchildren, Deseree, Caitlin, Veronica, Meagan, Bridgette and niece, Carol Ann. Joanie served in the U.S. Air Force in the early fifties. She was a pretty Irish Catholic lass, with a great love for family and friends. Her sense of humor and great wit, made her a joy to talk to and know. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and especially her husband of 55 years, Albert (Sackie) Howell. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. John's The Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7 p.m.
