JO JONES PAINTER
1923 - 2008
Jo Jones Painter, 85, of Panama City Beach, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008. She had been a resident of Panama City Beach since 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Painter. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Maunz and husband William, of Columbia, SC, Anne Sinclair and husband Kevin, of Ventura, CA, two sons, W. Scott Painter and wife Donna, of Gretna, LA, David Painter, of Panama City Beach, four grandchildren, Sandy and Robert, of Columbia, SC, Matthew and Andrew, of Ventura, CA and two great grandchildren, Lilly Maunz and Noah Slayton. She was well known as a demonstrator of the ancient art of spinning and sewing. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Grace Episcopal Church with the Rev. Joseph A. Hagberg officiating. She will be interred, along with her husband, at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky at a later date.
