Jimmie Ruth Shelton, 86, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.  She was born February 20, 1939 in Tallassee, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Shelton; her parents, James & Annie Ruth Ledbetter; a sister, Joyce Waites and a brother, Lloyd Donald Ledbetter.  She is survived by two children, Juanice Shelton Christian (Tom), Dennis Shelton (Susan); three grandchildren, Allie Shelton, Andrew Shelton, Payton Smith; two great grandchildren, Robbie and Annabel.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Conrad Meadows officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service.  A private family graveside service will be held in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Eclectic, AL.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in memory of Jimmie Ruth Shelton.
