Mr. Jimmie Lee Peterson Jr. was born May 28, 1976 in Lynn Haven, Florida to the late Jimmie Peterson Sr. and Lydia Oney.

He was a graduate of Wewahitchka High School. He was a hard worker for over 20 years at Granny Cantrell’s and other job sites.

He was a loving and caring young man with a big smile for everyone.

He leaves to cherish his memory his 4 children; Jordan Peterson, Catera Peterson, Elliott Peterson, Steven Peterson and 2 bonus children London Moore and Na’jah Moore and also the Love of his life Rebecca Trotter also the mothers of his children Mrs. Roniquea Peterson and Danielle Ross. His godmother Mrs. Doris Mincy (Ike).

His Mother and Papa Robert and Lydia Oney. His sister Michelle Redden (Mike) and his brother the late Steven Nelson. Nieces and nephews; Keneshia, Thomas Jr., Devante and Tamara and a host of great nieces and nephews; his aunt Rubye Peterson and uncle Solomon Nelson and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, God brothers, God sisters and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 3 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2-3 pm prior to the service.

THAT BRINGS HIM BACK AS CLEARLY AS THOUGH HE WERE STILL HERE,

AND FILLS YOU WITH THE FEELING THAT HE IS ALWAYS NEAR.

FOR IF YOU KEEP THOSE MOMENTS, YOU WILL NEVER BE APART

AND HE WILL LIVE FOREVER LOCKED SAFELY WITHIN YOUR HEART.

HE’S ONLY GONE ON AHEAD OF YOU,

NOT JUST LEFT YOU BEHIND.

ALTHOUGH YOU CAN’T BE WITH HIM RIGHT NOW,

HE LIVES ON IN YOUR HEART AND MIND.
