Jimmie Ann Graham, 81, of Panama City, Florida passed away in the comfort of her home Monday, May 26th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Louise Young, brother Mickey Young, as well as her son Russell Graham. Jimmie Ann is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, Neil Graham; daughter, Stephanie Graham Woodrum (Joel) and 5 grandchildren; Andrew Graham (Stacy), Brianna Johns (TJ), Christopher Woodrum, Katie Ballesteros (Victor), and Kevin Woodrum.
Jimmie Ann was born May 12, 1944, in Adel, GA. She was an honor graduate of Cook County Highschool before attending Valdosta State College. Jimmie Ann moved to Panama City, FL in 1972, and was a stay-at-home mom for six years before helping start and manage the family's paint and property management businesses from 1978-1995. Jimmie Ann was a long-term member of St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church in Panama City. She was involved throughout her life in her community as a member of the Jaycettes, Panama City Women's Club and a charter member of the Gulf Coast Women's Club. At the age of 48, Jimmie Ann and her husband both earned their private pilot's licenses and enjoyed flying all across the Southeast. Over the years, she traveled to 49 states and 17 countries, indulged in snow skiing, snowmobiling, being out on their houseboat. She was also an avid reader. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We find comfort in knowing that Jimmie Anns' legacy lives on through the lessons she taught us, the love she shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. The family would like to express heartfelt appreciation for all the caregivers, Camilla, Tabitha, Casandra, and Patty as well as the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2nd, 2025, at St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church, 2100 Michigan Ave, Panama City, FL with Pastor J.C. Stanaland officiating with prayer by Rev. Henry Hazard. The family will receive friends at church from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service with lunch to follow. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 3733 US Hwy. 231 Panama City, FL. 32404.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church.
