Obituary

Jimmie Jack Damron, 83, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. He was born, December 24, 1936 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was a retired air traffic control chief for the Department of the Army. He was a member of the Emerald Coast Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Randall Damron & Elizabeth Irene Damron and a brother, Johnny Ben Damron. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Brock Damron; two children, James Farrell Damron (Teresa), Dale Calhoun (Casey); seven grandchildren, James F. Damron Jr., Amber Kennedy (Andrew), Ashleigh Damron, Joshua Damron, Jacob Damron, Tristan Fite, Taylor Fite; great granddaughter, Mollie Grace Kennedy and a sister, Louise Lester. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Emerald Coast Fellowship Backpacking or Happy Soles ministries.
