JIMMIE WADE ARMSTRONG
Jimmie Wade Armstrong, 72, of Lynn Haven, Florida died July 16, 2007 in the Chester Sims Veterans Nursing Home. He was a retired Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1989 after 30 years, and a lifelong resident of Bay County. He was a 1952 graduate of Bay High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Letter Carrier's Union. He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Adams Armstrong of Lynn Haven, his children, Wilbur L. Armstrong and wife Laura of Winter Park, Florida, Teresa Armstrong Franklin and husband Phil, Angie Bouchard and husband Richard, all of Greenville, South Carolina, 5 grandchildren, Alexandra Armstrong, Danielle Pereira and husband Ricardo, Nicole Franklin, Matthew Bouchard, Tori Bouchard, mother, Lottie Mae Armstrong, 2 brothers, Rex Armstrong and Gerald Armstrong, sister, Joyce Baxley, all of Panama City. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Gideons, P.O.
