JESSIE K. "PAT" BAILEY

Jessie K. "Pat" Bailey, of Panama City, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009. She was born in Ashford, Alabama to Robert & Annie Kirkland. She was retired from the Bay County School Board. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1960 moving here from Leesburg, FL. She was a charter member of the Grace Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Bay County Historical Society, the Panama City Woman's Club and the American Business Women's Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.H. "Bill" Bailey. She is survived by a daughter, Martha Bailey Rumbough and husband, Jim; son, Michael Bamberg, 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Rumbough, Matthew Rumbough and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Grace Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tully Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
