Jesse Lewis Luther, 91, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born October 31, 1928 in Lillington, N.C. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1951 moving here from Wadesboro, N.C. He was a retired mobile dispatcher for the Navy Coast System Center. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Harrison & Martha Loretta Luther, his in-laws, Bob & Adele Lucas and twelve siblings. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann Lucas Luther; brother-in-law, Frank Lucas; sister-in-law, Bobby Sue Clarkson and husband, Gene and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
