JERRY JOE ROSBOROUGH
Jerry Joe Rosborough, 68, of Panama City, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. He was born January 29, 1941 in Landes, Illinois. He received his bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1962. He was a underwater mine countermeasures specialist at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, retiring in 2004 after 42 years of service. He attended Woodlawn United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Rosborough. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Brown Rosborough; 2 daughters, Rachelle Dolan and husband, James; Brooke Rosborough; twin grandsons, Vince Dolan, Garrett Dolan; mother, Jola Earnst and a brother, Ron Rosborough. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Irwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make contributions to the Building Fund of Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 219 North Alf Coleman Road, Panama City Beach, FL 32407 in memory of Jerry Rosborough.
