Jerry Louis Richmond, 89, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Born on February 27, 1936, in Jena, Louisiana, to Nancy and Marvin Richmond, he was a devoted member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, where he served as Senior Warden. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he enjoyed playing and watching golf, umpiring baseball, refereeing football, and spending time over coffee at Coram's. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Nancy and Marvin Richmond, one brother, Curtis Richmond and one sister, Margaret Morris. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Diane L. Richmond; four children, Greg Powell (Noelle), Tim Powell (Laura), Melissa Cuesta (Bobby) and Jennifer Thayer; nine grandchildren, Charissa Powell (John), Michael Powell, Jonathan Powell, Anna Powell, Jordan Handford, Payton Thayer, Perry White (Anna), Shane White (Hannah), Lance White (Ashley), Alanah Filion and Aidan Filion,  two great grandchildren, Gabriel Handford and Parker White, Niece Kristi Leinneweber and Nephew Jeffrey Richmond.

The family would like to thank the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice and Ascension Sacred Heart for their excellent care.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11 am at St. Andrew Episcopal Church.
