Jerry Wayne Halstead, 77, of Panama City, passed away on February 9, 2022.  He was born on August 21,1944 to Gettis and Tressie Halstead.  He was a retired insurance salesman.  He graduated from Bay High School in 1962 and served in the United States National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Frances Halstead.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte Halstead; brother-in-law, Larry Booth (Sandra); sister-in-law, Linda Brown (Steve); nephews, Al Booth (Tiffany), Douglas Brown (Christina) and David Brown (Liz); nieces, Treana Pitts (Steve) and Elon Booth Bruner; two great nephews and three great nieces.  Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery with Elder J.C. Stanaland officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the St. Andrew's Primitive Baptist Church in memory of Jerry Halstead.
