JERRY RANDALL BROCK

Jerry Randall Brock, 74, made his peaceful transition to heaven on Monday evening, January 20th, at home among family and friends in Panama City Beach.

Jerry was born on November 27, 1939, in Bonifay, FL and graduated from Bay High in Panama City in 1957. He married his wife Lorrie, during their employment with the FBI in D.C, then moved to California, where he attended Golden Gate College and began his career in the accounting field.

After leaving California, Jerry spent 30 years in Houston, TX, 20 of which was with Occidental Petroleum Corp. in their Excise Tax department. He and Lorrie retired in 2000 to full-time RV living, then wound up back in Panama City Beach, where Jerry was general manager at the Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort.

Jerry loved anything to do with computers, playing golf, genealogy, old westerns and communing with nature.

He is predeceased by parents Leavy Brock and Bernice Brock-Harless, and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorrie Brock; brothers Greg Brock (Jan) and Pat Brock (Martha) and sister Joan Ausley (Jerry); children, Pam Fogarty and Bobby Brock; five grandchildren, Justin (Elizabeth), Rose (Jordan), Victoria, Sarah and Ryan; two great grandchildren, Holly and Lily; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Jerry Brock.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to special friends Richard and Michael, and the staffs of Lisenby Health Care and Covenant Hospice, for their loving care during Jerry's illness.
