JEREMIAH "JERRY" WOFFORD LANGSTON
Jeremiah "Jerry" Wofford Langston, 67, of Panama City, Florida, died June 9, 2007 in the Sims Veterans nursing home. He was born February 9, 1940 to Henry and Lou Ellen Wofford Langston. He served in the United States Navy as a SeaBee. He was retired from Bell South as an Electronics Technician. He was a 1958 graduate of Bay High School. He also attended Gulf Coast Community College and Auburn University. He was a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Panama City. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Canton, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anne. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Langston of Panama City, two daughters, Kitty Pitts and husband Eddie of Thomaston, Georgia, Anne Cooley and husband Joseph of Pine Mountain, Georgia, two step-sons, Rene Carlos Mayaudon and wife Iris of Miami, Florida, Jose Mayaudon of Atlanta, Georgia, 7 grandchildren, twin brother, John Langston and wife Jo of Panama City. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
