Jennifer Lynn Adams, 64, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at HCA North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She was born on October 13, 1961 in Big Springs, Texas to Lt. Col. James Hollis Wright, Jr. and Nobel Reeves Wright.

Jennifer was an active member of First Baptist Church of Panama City, where she faithfully attended Sunday School and Bible Study Groups. She was also a member of the Gideons Auxiliary where she distributed Bibles to local doctor offices and hospitals. She began each day grounded in God’s Word, knowing that time in Scripture was not simply a part of her routine, but the foundation for everything that followed. From that time with the Lord flowed her prayers, her compassion, her wisdom, and the way she loved and served others. She was a prayer warrior and known by many as a steadfast encourager.

In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking, card-making, tending to her flower beds, and reading Christian novels. She had a gift for making people feel loved, often preparing meals for families in need, surprising friends with flowers or baked goods, and making sure those around her knew how deeply they were appreciated. Jennifer was a devoted wife of 36 years and a mother of five. Her children could always count on her to cheer them on, take pride in their accomplishments, stand beside them through difficult seasons, and take a genuine interest in both their work and their families. She delighted in her grandchildren and especially loved the simple joy of playing with them, making memories they will carry for years to come. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wright, and her son, Nicholas Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Anthony Adams; mother, Nobel Reeves Wright; two daughters, Christine (Daniel) Martin, Sarah (Tori) Byers; two sons, Matthew (Hannah) Adams, David (Abby) Adams; five grandchildren, Elianna Martin, Tatiyana Martin, Leo Adams, Ela Adams, Omri Adams; and one brother, Kirk (Kim) Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Panama City. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. A light lunch will be served in the fellowship hall following the visitation. Interment will be held at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Lynn Haven.
