Jeanie Floyd  Bowling, 72,  of Panama City Beach,  Florida went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, November 24, 2017 in her home after a long battle with cancer.  Jeanie was born October 19, 1945 in Panama City, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Marion and Doris Dykes Floyd and brother, Marion Floyd all of Marianna.  Her survivors include Frank, the love of her life and husband of 56 years; two sons Rick  Bowling (Heidi);  Glen Bowling (Malika) ; five grandchildren Andrew Bowling (Alli), Matthew Bowling (Randi), Joshua Bowling (Annica), Hannah Jennings  (Matt), Sarah Bowling, four great-granddaughters,  Ava, Isabella, Addison,  Annabelle; brother, Greg Floyd (Martha);  sister-in-law Gwen Folsom (Kenny),  and many nieces and nephews.  Jeanie was steadfast in her faith and always had a big smile. The theme she proclaimed and lived by was "To God be the Glory." Her passions were her family, traveling (especially cruises), fishing, scrapbooking, and bringing joy and hope to everyone she met. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28 ^th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Baptist Church in Panama City with Dr. Michael Claunch officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Marianna, FL with Reverend Greg Floyd officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrew Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Jeanie Bowling
