Janice Collier Truett, 72, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023.  She was born June 8, 1951 in Franklin, North Carolina.  She was a retired social worker for the State of Georgia.  She joins loved ones in heaven including her parents, Tom & Irene Woody; a brother, Harold Woody; a sister, Doris Rabun; and her first husband, Rodney Collier.  She is survived by her husband, Clifton "Peanut" Truett; children, Lowell Collier (Lee), Preston Collier, Katrina Bigham (John), Brian Truett (Jadonna), Jennifer Glass; grandchildren, Cody, Rae, Indigo, Jade, Ivy, Johnathan, Jaxon, Jillian, Emma, Anna, Holly, Sarah, Alyssa; great grandchildren, Iris, Irelynn, Lorelei; sister, Anita Rogers Miller and a brother, Joel Woody (Bernice), and more beloved family, nieces and nephews than you can count.  As much as she was loved by all, she gave that love in return every day. She had a kind and open heart for everyone and made sure to show it. She remembered every birthday and anniversary and knew exactly how to help when someone needed a little extra love and support. More than anything, she will be remembered as giving the best hugs and always having her fuzzy pink flip-flops close by. We will continue to love and appreciate her more than words can describe until we see her again. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 12 noon in the Spring Valley Holiness Church, 5609 Strickland Road, Ebro FL.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service.  Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Spring Valley Holiness Church, in memory of Janice Truett.
