Jane Nendick passed away from complications to her year long illness  on Sunday, 11 August 2024 at 10am in Panama City Beach.

Jane served as District II Director and as half of a very successful Membership Team for Recruitment and Retention. She brought much Joy to us all and she will surely be missed.

Jane Nendick is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee where she received a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in child psychology and a master's degree in administration and supervision. She completed the requirements, except for a published paper, for her PhD.  Moving to Athens, Georgia she taught the 5th and 6th grades and was the child psychologist on staff.

Later she moved to Memphis, Tennessee where she lived for 34 years and taught at St. Mary's and later became the child psychologist at Lausanne School.    Along with her UT sorority sisters, Jane would come to Panama City Beach for spring break.  She remembers when Back Beach Road was 2 lanes paved with oyster shells.  Later as she was looking towards her future and retirement, she bought a condo in Panama City Beach.

Her husband, Ed, invites you to remember and celebrate Jane's life at the American Legion Post 402, on 17680 Ashley Drive, in Panama City Beach, FL on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm.
