Jane Dianne Johnson Wolfe, 66, passed away and entered her eternal home in heaven on May 4th, 2025 in Panama City, Florida after a prolonged illness.  She is survived by her parents-Joe and Cynthia Johnson of Chipley, FL as well as a sister-Lynn (Mike) Tiller of Flowery Branch, GA and a brother-Mark (Kathy) Johnson of Panama City, FL. Jane also had six nieces and nephews as well as five great nieces and nephews whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her grandparents-Ed and Margaret Johnson of Chipley, FL and DeVane and Alwynne Williams of Bonifay, FL.

Jane was born on July 25, 1958 in Tallahassee, FL. The family moved to the Atlanta area in 1960 and she was raised in Stone Mountain. Jane graduated from Clarkston High School in 1976 then moved out of state to attend Columbia (SC) College where she received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in 1980.

Jane loved the Columbia area and decided to make her home there. A great influence in her life was Mrs. Theodore Nelson (Aunt Ella Mae) of St. Matthew's, SC.

Jane met the love of her life-Johnny Ray Wolfe-while they both worked at MetLife Insurance Company. They were married in 1997 in Myrtle Beach, SC. The couple suffered the loss of an infant son-Clayton Tyler Wolfe. Despite this setback, Jane and John made a happy life in Lexington, SC as they enjoyed spending time and traveling with friends and family.

Jane retired from the University of South Carolina (Student Housing) in 2019. After John's passing in 2020, Jane relocated to Panama City, FL to be closer to family.

Jane had many interests and activities. As a child, she danced for many years at the Decatur School of Ballet. She enjoyed musicals, classic movies and participating in theatre productions. Jane was an accomplished artist and loved water color painting. She also cross-stitched and made many beautiful works of art for her family. Jane will be greatly missed by her friends and her NW Florida, South Carolina and Georgia families.
